Who is responsible for your data

The controller is Infinity Telecom, s. r. o. Contact us at obchod@in8inity.cz with questions or requests about your personal data.

This notice covers website analytics and information stored in your browser. Processing related to our services is described in a separate document.

Why we use analytics

With your consent, we measure visits, page popularity and use of the website. The results help us improve its content and navigation.

  • Measurement covers the page visited and its title, the time of the visit, the referring domain, language and basic browser and device information. We may derive an approximate region from the truncated IP address.
  • The server receives your IP address during transmission. We store a truncated version in the analytics database; this does not automatically make all data anonymous.
  • We do not use analytics cookies or a persistent visitor identifier stored in your browser. We do not include form contents, your name, email or customer identifiers in analytics. We remove query parameters and fragments after # from page addresses. Session recordings, heatmaps and form analytics are not enabled.

Essential browser storage

We save your analytics choice in browser localStorage (key in8inity:privacy:v1). The record contains your choice, its time, expiry, notice version, language and choice method. Acceptance and refusal are valid for 6 months. After expiry, we remove the record on your next visit and ask again. The record is not used for advertising.

When you switch languages while drafting an enquiry, we temporarily save the completed fields in sessionStorage (in8inity:inquiry-transfer:v1). The destination page reads and removes the record, accepting its contents only within 60 seconds of storage. If that page does not load, the record remains at most for the lifetime of that browser tab session.

These entries are needed to remember your preference and transfer the form at your request. They do not require analytics consent. To the extent personal data is involved, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in respecting your settings and preserving an enquiry during a language change.

Where data is stored and who can access it

We use Matomo analytics software, which we operate ourselves. Analytics data and backups are stored on servers owned by Infinity Telecom, s. r. o., in the European Union.

Only authorised Infinity Telecom, s. r. o. staff can access the analytics data. We do not disclose it to external recipients.

We do not transfer analytics data outside the European Economic Area.

How long we keep data

We keep detailed visit records for up to 90 days and aggregated statistical reports for up to 12 months, then delete them. These limits also apply to backups.

After you consent, we send a record of the consent time, notice version, language and method together with the measurement. This helps document consent and is retained for up to 90 days in detailed data and up to 12 months in event reports. Refusal is stored only in your browser.

Change or withdraw consent

Use “Privacy settings” in the footer to reject analytics or withdraw consent at any time. This stops further measurement in this browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Your choice applies to this browser and device. After clearing local storage or using another browser, we ask again and keep analytics off until you consent.

Closing the banner before making a choice saves a refusal for 6 months. Closing settings when a choice is already saved leaves it unchanged. Closing or continuing to browse never gives consent.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw analytics consent at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact obchod@in8inity.cz. You may also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů) or the supervisory authority where you usually live, work or consider that a GDPR infringement occurred.
